Last month, Net Entertainment launched a teaser trailer for its new game, Sparks. The video attracted a great deal of attention from players who were very excited to give this new game a spin.

Now, the title has finally been launched at online casinos, so we thought we would give it a spin to see if this game lives up to the hype.

The Look

Like all recent releases from Net Entertainment, Sparks is a gorgeous game. It features a fireworks theme, and all of the symbols are designed to look like they are made of light beams.

The low-paying symbols and the high-paying symbols are designed with the same attention to detail, so the same is very eye-catching.

Play Both Ways

When playing Sparks, you can choose to play in either Win One Way or Win Both Ways mode. In Win One Way mode, winning combinations pay out from left to right only.

When you activate Win Both Ways mode, you activate winning combinations that pay out left to right and right to left. This triggers more potential winning combinations, increasing your chances of winning big.

The great thing about this format is that you don’t have to pay extra in order to trigger the Win Both Ways mode. Usually, you have to increase your stake to trigger these types of features but Sparks offers this feature for free, and it is included in your stake.

Bonus Features

On the base game of Sparks, there is a unique feature called Cloning Expanding wilds. These are wild symbols (that substitute for other symbols to make winning combinations) that expand upwards or downwards on a single reel. If that’s not generous enough, they also clone the symbols on either side of the expansion.

So, if a butterfly symbol appears on reel 3 and a wild symbol lands beside it, the symbol in the same position on reel 5 will also become a butterfly. This helps to vastly increase players’ winning potential.

Sadly, there is no off-screen feature. If you enjoy playing slots for their bonus games, then you may want to give Sparks a miss.

You won’t find a free spins game or even a pick-a-prize feature. Sure, the Expanding, Cloning Wilds are very generous – but the design team could have amped up the gameplay with an extra bonus round to keep players spinning.

Overall, Sparks is quite a good online slots game. It has only been around for a few weeks, and it is already a big hit among players. So, give it a spin!
