Poker players tend to keep to themselves. While they can be seen on televised poker tournaments, they are fairly quiet about their private lives. One poker player, however, has decided to do things differently.

Dan Bilzerian has taken to Instagram to flaunt his lavish lifestyle – and he has become an internet sensation.

‘The Most Interesting Man on Instagram’

Bilzerian has been cast into the spotlight after a Buzzfeed post dubbed him ‘The Most Interesting Man on Instagram’. The post picked several photos from his Instagram account to show just how lavish his life is, including photos of his homes, vehicles and travels.

You can also find photos of his group of friends, which consists of women who don’t seem to like being covered up. His extensive gun collection is also heavily featured on his feed.

Background

It’s likely that you’ve never heard of an Bilzerian unless you’re a poker fan. He earned his first big-name cash in 2009, cashing in the WSOP’s high-roller tournament. Since he’s not a bracelet-holder, he’s not particularly well-known and is not as big as name as some celebrity poker players like Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey and Doyle Brunson.

However, he remains quite active in the poker world, being voted one of the Funniest Poker Players in an online poll by Bluff Magazine. Bilzerian has also co-founded Victory Poker, an online poker website.

Outside of the Poker World

Bilzerian has actually appeared in a few films. In 2013, he was a stunt man in Olympus Has Fallen and acted in Lone Survivor. He is also an avid gun collector, and shares photos of his impressive collection on his Instagram.

The Hazards of Living Large

While we appreciate a glimpse into the life of luxury, it is important remember that it is not particularly wise to live to excess – not even for Dan Bilzerian. He has suffered from three heart attacks in his short life (he is only 33-years-old!), which certainly does not set a great example. 

Still, we’re subscribe to his Instagram because we just can’t get enough his exciting antics. Most wealthy individuals are fairly quiet about their riches – but Bilzerian bares all on his Instagram feed.
