Net Entertainment has recently launched its latest online slots: The Invisible Man. The game merges vintage styling with modern gaming principles to create an experience that is fun, engaging and exciting.

The Theme

The Invisible Man was originally a science fiction novel written by H.G. Wells in 1897. It is about a man named Griffin who invents a method of making himself invisible but fails at turning himself back.

The story chronicles his descent into madness, as he resorts to a life of crime and is pursued by Colonel Adye. It was adapted into a film in 1933, and become a classic of the horror genre.

We’re very impressed with Net Entertainment’s range of slots themes. Rather than focusing on popular modern brands, the company takes a look at classic films. These are the types of slots that will never go out of style, and we appreciate developers who create them.

The Look

The Invisible Man slots from NetEntertainment feature an Art Deco theme. Since the film was made in the 1933s, this particular design scheme is very appropriate.

The overall look is retro and cinematic, and Net Entertainment has done a great job developing the aesthetic of this particular slots game.

The Wilds

This new online slots title employs quite unique bonus symbols. When the police chief or Griffin appears on the reels, they trigger respins. The chief travels left-to-right and Griffin travels right-to-left as the respins occur. When the wild disappears off of the last reel, the respins end.

Players can accumulate huge winnings during this on-screen bonus round, as they do not have to wager any money during the respins.

Free Spins

Free Spins are triggered when the police chief and Griffin collide during the base game. In the free spins round, there is a red metre (grows as Griffin symbols appear on the reels) and a blue metre (which grows when the police symbol appears).

When the blue metre maxes out, the Police Spins are triggered – which is a free spins round with extra wilds.

Griffin Bonus

When the red metre maxes out, the player triggers the Griffin Bonus. During this round, players head out on a crime spree. They visit one of three locations and are able to pick from several items to reveal their prize. Players can win cash or multipliers.

Our Verdict

There really isn’t very much that we would change about The Invisible Man slots from Net Entertainment.

It has a beautiful design, an engaging base game and several off-screen bonuses. It is certainly a contender for our favourite game of 2014.
