Over the course of the past few years, we have seen a major increase in the number of gaming developers in the online casino world. More and more new companies are launching their own brand of online slots and other casino games, competing with more established brands like NetEntertainment and Microgaming.
So, we thought we would pay homage to some of the newer online slots developers that you may not have heard of yet.
Magnet Gaming
Magnet Gaming was founded in 2014, and has seen significant success in its first year. The company prides itself on improving customer retention, and notes that plenty of players stick around at online casinos to play Magnet Gaming titles.
You may not have heard of this company yet because it only has a few titles under its belt – 8, to be exact. Sunny Farm, Bank Walt, Deep Blue and Side Show are just some of the bright and vibrant online slots available from the company.
We were quite impressed with the unique look of many of these titles, and Magnet Gaming certainly has something new to bring to the online casino market.
Thunderkick
Thunderkick is an online slots developer that started appearing in the online gaming market in 2014. The company made a big impression on online casino players with innovative titles like Sunny Scoops, Toki Time, and Birds on a Wire. Each of these games features completely new gaming formats and unique art styles.
The company appeals to modern gamers that value innovation in gaming design. You may not have heard of this developer because it is still very new.
The company has also yet to release any new titles in 2015 yet – and, we’re already into March. If Thunderkick does not want to get left behind in this competitive market, it should maintain a steady stream of new releases at least every few months.
Playson
Playson is an online slots developer that was founded in 2012. The company specialises in online and mobile games that feature striking graphics and realistic art. Noteworthy titles from Playson include: Lucky Birds, Thunder Reels, Zombirthday, Skyway Cirus and Odysseus.
You may not have heard of this developer simply because it seems like its games are not widely distributed yet. While the company has been around longer than the other companies on our list, it is likely that Playson needs a bit more time in the market to establish a wider reputation.
New game distribution platforms like Odobo and BetConstruct’s Game Store can certainly help.
