This month, we’ve seen two exciting teaser trailers for upcoming games from Microgaming and Net Entertainment – so, we’d like to give our first impressions on these titles.
Hot As Hades
The upcoming Hot As Hades slots game features a unique take on the Greek mythology theme that is so popular among games developers. Instead of feature Greek Gods like Zeus, Hercules and Aphrodite, Hot as Hades focuses on the underworld. In this game, you will find characters like Hades, Medusa and Cerberus.
There is a Super Mode bonus feature, which helps to boost player’s winning potential. When this happens, Hades triggers additional wild symbols on the reels – which also replace any logo symbols.
These wilds will then remain in place as the reels spin to help trigger even more generous winning combinations.
A fun off-screen bonus is also available in the Quest for the Crystal Helm. This is a five-level bonus game in which Hades must outsmart different Greek mythology characters. If the player is successful in every round, they will win a generous bonus prize.
We’re quite taken with this bonus round, as it features great animations and offers up an intriguing way to earn bonus cash.
Neon Staxx
In the new Neon Staxx online slots game, Net Entertainment puts a unique new theme to use. It features a retro futuristic look with 1980s-style graphics along with space-age technology.
The aesthetic of this upcoming slots title is very interesting, and it is unlikely anything else we’ve seen from slots developers recently. If you’re drawn to games because of their graphics, Neon Staxx will certainly appeal to you.
When it comes to bonuses, however, the game seems to be lacking. There is a free spins game that is triggered when three or more scatter symbols appear on the reels – but that appears to be it. One symbol is randomly selected to be a Super Stacked symbol during the bonus, which helps to trigger massive wins. So, there is a great deal of impressive winning potential.
We miss having an off-screen bonus in Neon Staxx but classic slots players will still enjoy the simple gameplay.
