The online gaming market is becoming increasingly social, as more developers create networks through which players can interact with one another.
PSN, Xbox Live, Steam and Zynga offer up great social networking features for players to enjoy, and now ISIS Lab is creating a similar network for online gamblers.
ISIS Friends
ISIS Friends will be the first social network that is exclusively designed for online gamblers. Players will be able to wager actual cash on online casino games while interacting with each other. They will be able to share their progress, compete with one another and keep in contact with online friends.

Built With Cladstone
ISIS Lab will be working with Cladstone to create the new social gambling network. While Cladstone is not a name that is very well-known among players in the online gambling market, the company has a good reputation among industry professionals.
The firm operates Microgaming-powered casinos and bingo sites, and will bring online gambling expertise to the table.
Game Selection
According to a press release issued by ISIS Lab, ISIS Friends will offer up hundreds of online casino titles. The network will support third-party game integrations, which means that we could see online slots from a wide range of developers like IGT, BetSoft and Microgaming.
Will ISIS Friends Be Successful?
Networks like PSN and Xbox Live have proven that gamers value the option to interact with each other online. However, we are not entirely sure that the same will apply to online gamblers. It seems that playing casino games like online slots, roulette and blackjack are quite solitary, so we can see it being an uphill battle for ISIS Friends.
Fortunately, social casinos like Double Down are becoming very popular. While the markets for play-money and real-money gambling are completely different beasts, it is possible that real-money gamblers will adopt the same affinity for social networking that play-money gamblers have developed.
What We Would Like To See
The network will include the usual social applications, such as sharing content and inviting friends to compete – so, we would like to see some new and unique features. For example, it would be great to see ISIS Friends truly take advantage of the social opportunities that are available to them.
Community gaming could be a big hit at ISIS Friends, allowing players to work together to achieve goals and win cash. It would also be interesting if players could pool their efforts to earn bonuses.
