At Slots Temple, we love unusual themes for slot machines. This week, we’ve caught wind of NYX Gaming’s new Holly Madison slots game, based on the famed beauty that was once a long-term partner of Hugh Hefner.

“We’re delighted to be working with Holly, who has played a huge role in bringing NextGen’s latest multi-featured slot gaming experience to market. The game will be available in all formats across our industry’s widest distribution network, and initially to our NYX OGS™partners,” says David Johnson, Commercial Director at NYX Gaming Group.

Who is Holly Madison?

Holly Madison first rose to fame when she became one of Hugh Hefners seven (!) girlfriends in 2001. While she was never an official Playmate, she was featured in the Playboy magazine on several occasions and eventually became Hugh’s ‘#1 Girl’.

She retired from that lifestyle in 2009, and has since worked on solo projects.

Not the First Playboy Casino Game

While the Holly Madison slots title is unlikely to feature any Playboy branding, it is difficult to separate her from the Playboy name. So, we thought that we would give you some insight into other Playboy casino games. Several years ago, Playboy launched a slots game based on the Playboy brand. It is a five-reel game that offers up a 243 Ways to Win format.

It features iconic imagery, such as sexy ladies, poker chips, whiskey and cigars. Bally has also created a slots game based on the brand called Playboy Hot Zone. It is a 40 payline slot machine, which actually features Hugh Hefner as he congratulates you when you cash in on a win from the bonus round.

Playboy has also lent its name to many other gaming projects. PlayboyPoker.com is an online poker room with iconic branding from the company while the Playboy Club is a casino and nightclub in London.

Appearance At G2E Gaming Expo

To celebrate the launch of her new game, Holly will be making a special appearance at the G2E gaming expo this week. She will be doing a ‘meet and greet’ with expo attendees on Wednesday 1st October at 3.30pm.

Holly is not the only celebrity who will be doing a ‘meet and greet’ at the event. Lynda Carter will also be there at the Bally Technologies stand to sign autographs and launch the new Wonder Woman slots series.
