For years, the Google Play Store has had a ban on real-money gambling apps, preventing players from download their favourite casino software to their phones or tablets. An employee of the company received an email from Google that stated at the “beginning of August 2017, Google will accept applications for the distribution of gambling apps within the Play store in the United Kingdom, France and the Republic of Ireland”.
