When it comes to creating movie-themed slots, online gaming designers choose to base their titles on action-packed films. Unfortunately, the game does not do much to prove us wrong. It is a much older game, so the graphics leave something to be desired and there is no distinguishing soundtrack. It does not include any off-screen bonus features and it does not incorporate any film clips from the movie.
It seems that the only link between the game and the movie is that the characters on the symbols resemble those from the film.
Cryptologic’s online slots game based on Ferris Bueller’s Day Off suffers from the same lack of imagination. However, the saving for both of these titles is that they are linked to a generous four-level progressive jackpot network. WMS’ Wizard of Oz slots also fall into this category.
