OK, so this is a re-spin feature because you do get to spin the reels again (or at least some of them), for free. Calling them re-spins seems a bit reductive though, because this is not a typical feature.

To start with, it’s not triggered by finding the right symbols, but by finding empty spaces without symbols. Spaces appear in the second or fourth reels. A 2x2 square including that empty space plus three symbols will then rotate clockwise to the adjacent position. This happens 4 times. It’s different, distinctive and very engaging to watch.
