How to Play Reel Hero

There are quite a few different controls you’ll need to know about in order to play this slot. Below is an overview of these controls and how you can use them to change the settings within the game.

1.    Your current balance is displayed in the balance panel.
2.    Choose your bet by selecting the option you want on the panel at the bottom of the screen. You can also increase or decrease your bets with the plus and minus buttons.
3.    Click the shopping trolley icon to buy a bonus feature. The credits are taken from your total balance.
4.    Click the chilli pepper icon to change the volatility of your game.
5.    Use the button that displays a tortoise or a hare to change the speed of the reels.

Bet Sizes & Paytable Wins

Reel Hero Bonus Features

Free Spins

Landing three or more scatter symbols on the reels will reward you with 10 free spins. Once you trigger the free spins round two hero bonus feature icons will be selected at random. These remain active until the end of the round to help increase your winnings. A symbol that says +3FS can also appear on the reels during the free spins round and will reward you with a further three free spins.

Hero Bonus Feature

There are four different hero symbols that can land on the reels. Each one increases its respective bonus counter. Once five of the same hero symbols are collected the hero appears next to the reels. This in turn triggers the bonus feature which will activate five times. Only two hero bonus features can be unlocked at the same time.

Rich Bonus

Whenever a wild symbol lands, Rich can hack the reels to expand the wilds so they cover the entire reel. It will then become sticky and you will receive a free spin for additional winnings.

Victoria Bonus

After every win Victoria will use her laser glasses to move the reels over to the right. The first reel will then spin to create new winning combos.

Altiera Bonus

Jax Bonus

Our Verdict

The overall design of this slot is nothing special as the purple and blue theme is overused in this genre of game. Each hero having its own unique bonus feature adds an element to the game that makes it more playable. We also found it enjoyable to be able to choose your own volatility.
