Sweet Candy theme, graphics and soundtrack

Surrounded by pink candy floss, jelly sweets and candy twists, everything about this slot looks scrumptious. The candy floss and drifting cloud are reminiscent of Pragmatic Play's Sweet Bonanza online slot, although Sweet Bonanza's cascading reels are very different from Sweet Candy's more traditional layout.

The reels on Sweet Candy feature green jelly sweets, heart- and star-shaped sugar-coated candies, lollipops, bonbons, toffees, and even a Liquorice Allsorts-style sweet. The choice of soundtrack is spot-on, if a little repetitive - it is light and bouncy, with even the sound the reels make having a bounce. The wild is the only wrapped sweet and unwraps to reveal a square chocolate when it contributes to a win, while bigger wins produce a fountain of sweets! When you are shown the animated winning symbols, the non-winning symbols are blacked out, which seems a little off-putting considering they are edible items. This is just a small niggle against what is otherwise a great-looking and sounding game.

How to play Sweet Candy

Once the game loads, you will see a splash screen showing one of the bonus games on offer - touch continue to progress to the game:

1. Before you start, you should adjust your bet. You can do this by selecting the number of paylines you want to bet on and adjusting the number of coins you want to bet. Our verdict

Sweet Candy strikes a good balance between simplicity and being too busy, with two distinct bonus features and a paying scatter and wild. The chance of winning one of two random progressive jackpots is an extra plus in this game. While the volatility and hit rate is not publicised, it didn't feel like there were particularly long waits between wins and sometimes there were some decent rewards.
