April 2021 is shaping up to be a great month for new online slot releases. From new Megaways releases to a new installment in the Rich Wilde saga, slot makers have some great treats in store for players.
Cash Ultimate - Red Tiger
Cash Ultimate is the first new release to greet us this April, and it comes to us from the well-known and respected Red Tiger Gaming. Cash Ultimate is built around an old-school format, and the game uses a 5-reel, 4-row format with 20 fixed paylines - win lines as they’re called by the software provider - to deliver an “electrifying” experience to players.
Cash Ultimate is all about the CASH ULTIMATE symbols, and as you collect these during the gameplay you’ll climb what’s called a money ladder. There’s also a free spins bonus round packed into Cash Ultimate, and Red Tiger have informed us that the game will be pushed out across all their online casinos on the 1st of the month!
Power of Thor Megaways - Pragmatic Play
Power of Thor Megaways is a new video slot from Pragmatic Play that’s going to be released across all online casinos featuring the software provider’s games on the 1st April, 2021. Thor is one of the most common Greek mythology characters we see in online video slots, and Pragmatic has chosen to combine him with their license from Big Time Gaming to use the Megaways mechanic - and, by all accounts, the two, combined, work well together! Power of Thor Megaways is likely to appeal to players thanks to the 5,000X maximum win-potential it offers, and the highly volatile slot can be played from between 0.20 and 100 credits per spin!
Rich Wilde and the Amulet of the Dead - Play’n GO
Rich Wilde and the Amulet of the Dead is a new video slot from Play’n Go, and, like many of their titles based around the explorer, Rich Wilde, Rich Wilde and the Amulet of the Dead offers up the classic expanding symbols mechanic we first saw made popular in their Book of Dead hit game.
However, there’s a bit more going on in Rich Wilde and the Amulet of the Dead, and there’s multipliers present during the base-game, fully stacked wilds and a gamble feature - so it’s nice to see players offered something a little bit different than what they’re probably used to when it comes to playing “book of” games.
Gold Collector - Microgaming/All41
In the last two to three years we’ve seen Microgaming almost exclusively choosing to use smaller software providers to develop games on their behalf, and the first game to come from the iGaming powerhouse this month also follows this trend. It’s called Gold Collector, and it has been produced by a game developer called All41 Studios. Gold Collector can be played from between 0.10 and 100 credits per spin, and it’s built around a 5-reel, 4-row layout.
There are 50 fixed paylines, and the game’s RTP is 96.40%. The main attraction of the slot is the five jackpots which are worth up to 1,000X your stake, and the game also has a free spins bonus round which is triggered by landing three of the scatter symbols on the middle three reels.
Roman’s Legion of Gold - Spearhead
Roman’s Legion of Gold is a new video slot from Spearhead Studios, and while it’s going to be released quite soon, on the 6th April, the software provider hasn’t released much in the way of information about the game. All we know, for now, is that the video slot will be built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and that it is, of course, based around the Romans.
The software provider has, in the past, put together some pretty decent games, so we have high hopes that Roman’s Legion of Gold will be built to the same levels of quality we’re used to seeing in their games - but, without playing it, we can’t say with any definitive proof! We’ll update this page once we learn more about Roman’s Legion of Gold!
Cluster Slide - ELK
Cluster Slide is the latest video slot to come out of Elk Studio’s offices, and this unique-looking video slot is everything we’ve come to expect from this quirky software provider. Cluster Slide is built around a very strange 7X8 layout, and the reels look to be covered in what we can only really describe as jelly!
Cluster Slide is a highly volatile slot machine, and you’ll find yourself able to play it from between 0.20 and 100 credits per spin. There’s ons of bonuses and features to be found within Cluster Slide, including multipliers, symbol upgrades, giant symbols, and there’s also a free spins bonus, which is called Wild Drops.
Wild Chapo - Relax Gaming
Wild Chapo is a highly volatile new video slot from Relax Gaming - one of the industry’s biggest names at the moment, thanks to hit releases including Money Train 2. Wild Chapo is a video slot built around a 5-reel, 3-row format, and it offers players the chance of winning over 10,000X their stake, so like most of the software provider’s games it offers that win-potential many players are looking for in today’s iGaming world. The game can be played from between 0.10 and 100 credits per spin, and it’s going to be released across all of Relax Gaming’s partner online casinos on the 8th April, 2021.
Night Roller - Red Tiger
Night Roller is described by its developer - Red Tiger - as being feature rich and highly volatile, and, from what we’ve seen so far, the video slot does a great job of living up to both of those accolades. The game is built around a fairly unconventional 5X5 layout, and there's tons of bonuses and features including instant wins, multiplier win boosts, a feature board, and, the most lucrative of all, the free spins bonus round. Players can win thousands of times their stake while playing Night Roller, and when it’s released next month we expect to see it proving popular with players right from the get go!
Pizza Time - Gamevy
Pizza Time is the latest video slot from Gamevy. While they’re not one of the industry’s biggest software providers, they push out games at a fairly steady rate, and have produced some fairly decent hits in their time in the online gambling industry.
Aside from the release date (and the theme, which, we like to think is fairly obvious) we aren’t able, unfortunately, to provide you with any further information about the video slot - because we don’t know anything more ourselves! Once we do learn more about Pizza Time we’ll update this page accordingly!
Fire Toad - Play n GO
Fire Toad certainly isn’t the most usual name we’ve ever seen for a video slot - but then, for a software provider like Play’n Go, who are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is classified as “usual”, who are we to judge?
Players will be able to play Fire Toad for between 0.10 and 100 credits per spin, and, like most of the software provider’s games, it comes with a maximum win-potential of 5,000X your stake. The game’s highly volatile, and bonuses and features includes a free spins bonus round where you can be awarded up to 15 free games!
Wild Booster - Pragmatic Play
Pragmatic Play are taking things back to basics a little bit with their Wild Booster slot - and it’s built around a classic 5-reel, 3-row format, with just 20 paylines - all of which are fixed, by the way, so don’t expect to be able to adjust these manually yourself! The game does, however, offer quite a few unique bonuses and features, and the main one in the base-game is a win multiplier which can boost wins by up to 100X! There’s also a free spins bonus round where the multipliers appear more frequently, and Wild Booster offers you the chance to win as much as 5,000X your stake!
Bali Vacation Infinity Reels - PG Soft
Bali Vacation Infinity Reels is a new video slot from PG Soft that uses the famed Infinity Reels mechanic from industry-leader, ReelPlay. It’s themed, of course, around the popular Indonesian island of Bali, a popular choice of destination with tourists. Bali Vacation Infinity Reels will be released on the 11th April, 2021, and the game boasts tremendous win-potential of up to 100,000X your stake!
Using a unique array of bonuses and features including, of course, Infinity Reels and Win Multipliers big wins can be formed in both the base-game and the free spins bonus round, and there’s also a feature called No Poker which sees all of the game’s lower-paying symbols removed from the reels.
Scarab Link - IGT
Scarab Link is the latest release from American land-based casino giant IGT, and this Egyptian-themed video slot will be released at many online casinos on the 12th April, 2021. Scarab Link is built around a 5-reel, 3-row format and has 50 fixed paylines. During the base-game, you collect scarab reel frame positions, and on every 10th spin all of these frames are turned into wilds - so it uses quite a cool little mechanic that ensures there’s plenty of action to look out for.
The highlight of Scarab Link, however, is the two progressive jackpots the game offers, the main of which has a minimum seed of £5,000 - so there’s always going to be some fairly decent win-potential on offer here!
Queen of Alexandria - Microgaming/Neon Valley
Queen of Alexandria WOWPOT is the next release from Microgaming this month, and, once again, it’s developed by one of their smaller partner software providers, this time, Neon Valley. This Egyptian-inspired video slot is built around a classic 5-reel, 3-row format, and there’s 10 fixed paylines.
Players can play Queen of Alexandria WOWPOT from between 0.10 and 200 credits pe spin, and while the base-game is pretty uninspiring, there’s Microgaming’s WOWPOT progressive jackpot on offer - allowing players the chance to win millions of pounds from a single spin!
Bushido Ways xNudge - Nolimit City
Bushido Ways xNudge is an upcoming video slot from Nolimit City. Bushido Ways xNudge was initially meant to be released on the 6th April, but this date has been pushed back to the 13th. We don’t know a huge deal about Bushido Ways xNudge, yet, but we do know that it offers players the chance to win up to 30,000X their stake, and there’s quite a few bonuses and features in play.
These bonuses and features include Shogun Spins, Geisha Spins, and wilds and sliced wilds - the latter, something we see the game developer offering in one of their most recent releases, San Quentin. Bushido Ways xNudge can also be played from between 0.20 and 100 credits per spin.
Sweet Sugar - Evoplay
“Sweet Sugar is a hedonistic soirée in an outdoor pool of a luxury mega-yacht, taking party-loving players on the trip of a lifetime.” That’s what Evoplay themselves have to say about Sweet Sugar - their second release this month - and the game is classified on their website as being “HIGH HIGH” in volatility - something, we assume, means it will indeed be just that!
The game offers a decent RTP of 96%, and there’s a few bonuses and features on offer including the main bonus round, a free spins feature, during which extra wilds are added to the reels in addition to multipliers which can award wins of up to 5,000X your stake! This unique-looking slot will be released on the 14th April, 2021.
Anna Van Helsing - Microgaming/Rabcat
Rabcat isn’t a name we see all that often these days in the online gambling world, but they are still working behind the scenes, mainly to produce content for Microgaming - and Anna Van Helsing Monster Huntress is one of their first releases in a while, which is expected to be pushed out across all Microgaming casinos on the 15th April, 2021.
Anna Van Helsing Monster Huntress is based around the monster hunter called Van Helsing, and the video slot offers you the chance to win up to £225,000! Betting options vary between 0.25 and 150 credits per spin, and the RTP is healthy, coming in at 96.18%. There’s tons of bonuses and features, and we look forward to trying Anna Van Helsing Monster Huntress ourselves once it’s released!
777 Strike - Red Tiger
777 Strike is the next release from Red Tiger Gaming this month, and this classic, fruit machine-inspired video slot offers a maximum win-potential of 777X per spin - although you can actually win upwards of 2,800X your stake on per spin, thanks to the free spins bonus round the game contains.
Unfortunately, we were actually quite disappointed with the graphics in 777 Strike; usually, the software provider’s games look very good and feature stunning HD design, but that just can’t be said for 777 Strike. Still, the gameplay looks decent enough, and we’ll be giving it a go ourselves when it’s released on the 15th April, 2021!
Floating Dragon - Pragmatic Play
Floating Dragon Hold & Spin is the next release from Pragmatic Play this month, and this Oriental-inspired video slot comes to us from the software provider’s partner studio, Reel Kingdom, the same provider responsible for games like Big Bass Bonanza.
Floating Dragon Hold & Spin can be played from between 0.10 and 250 credits per spin and offers players the chance to win up to 5,000X their stake - so there’s some great win-potential on offer here There’s also a unique hold’n spin mechanic built in - if the name, Floating Dragon Hold & Spin, didn’t give it away - and this allows you to re-spin certain reels to try and land scatter symbols to trigger the main bonus round!
Book of King Arthur - Microgaming/JustForTheWin
Book of King Arthur is the first release we’re seeing from Just For The Win in a while, although as with all of their recent games, it’s an exclusive for Microgaming, so it’ll be pushed out via the Quickfire online gambling platform.
Book of King Arthur is based around King Arthur, naturally, and it’s built around a 5-reel, 3-row format. Like most of the game developer’s video slots, Book of King Arthur offers some impeccable HD graphics, and a few exciting bonuses and features ensures there’s something to look forward to on each and every spin!
Hot Fiesta - Pragmatic Play
Hot Fiesta is the latest video slot from Pragmatic Play, and, to be fair, the software provider appears to be releasing far fewer releases this month than normal - so it’s nice to see their April 22nd release built to such a high degree of quality. The game offers a maximum win of 5,000X your stake, and the video slot offers up some fantastic-looking graphics and imagery.
The video slot is also playable between 0.25 and 175 credits per spin. Hot Fiesta offers wild multipliers and a free spins bonus round, and this highly volatile video slot offers a really decent RTP of 96.56%.
Fire Joker Freeze - Play’n GO
Fire Joker Freeze is a new video slot from Play’n Go that’s a sequel to their hugely popular Fire Joker video slot that we saw released a few years ago. Fire Joker Freeze is played again on a 3X3 format, and there are five active paylines in play at all times. Fire Joker Freeze has an RTP of 96.18%, and you’ll find yourself able to play the slot from between 0.05 and 100 credits per spin. Unfortunately, Fire Joker Freeze has a relatively disappointing maximum win-potential of just 1,000X - and this is lower than we’d expect, especially considering the game’s a sequel to a game that offers the same win-potential. Still, Fire Joker Freeze looks decent, and it’s scheduled for release on the 22nd April.
Safari Sam 2 - Betsoft
After the major success of their original trip to the African Savanna, Betsoft are taking players back there, this time, in Safari Sam 2. Safari Sam 2 is played out on a 5-reel format and there’s 50 paylines active on each spin.
While Safari Sam 2 offers relatively low win-potential - it’s a medium variance video slot - there’s plenty of bonuses and features, many of which trigger quite frequently - so it’s a game that’s likely to sit well with players who’re looking for constant action, albeit with smaller wins.
8 Golden Skulls of the Jolly Roger Megaways Firepot - Microgaming/Buck Stakes
8 Golden Skulls of the Jolly Roger Megaways Firepot is another release from Microgaming this month, and it’s been developed by one of their partner studios called Buck Stakes Entertainment. 8 Golden Skulls of the Jolly Roger Megaways Firepot is built around a 6-reel format, and has a license from Big Time Gaming, so the Megaways engine is in play, with up to 117,649-ways-to-win active on each spin. 8 Golden Skulls of the Jolly Roger Megaways Firepot offers plenty of bonuses and features including mystery symbols, a free spins bonus round and a Firepot progressive jackpot, offering players the chance of winning thousands of times their stake!
GigaRise: Atlantis - Yggdrasil
GigaRise: Atlantis is a new video slot from Yggdrasil, and while we haven’t seen them pushing out a huge number of games recently, we’re pleased to see that GigaRise: Atlantis contains the high levels of quality that we’ve become used to seeing in the software provider’s slots. GigaRise: Atlantis is built around a 5-reel format, and there is between 3 and 8 rows on every spin, with up to 32,768 paylines active per spin. The game’s RTP is 96%, and GigaRise: Atlantis’ bonuses and features includes a free spins bonus and progressive jackpots!
Neon Shapes - Evoplay
Neon Shapes is a new video slot from Evoplay - and despite us saying early on in this post that the game developer isn’t overly well-known for pushing out regular new game content, this happens to be their third video slot release this month - so it may well be a sign of things to come!
Unfortunately, aside from having looked at a couple of game images, Evoplay hasn’t revealed any information about Neon Shapes besides the fact that the RTP is 96% and that it’s built around an 8X8 grid format. The graphics, however, look fantastic, and the neon design of all symbols actually really impressed us.
Robin Sherwood Marauders - Yggdrasil
Robin Sherwood Marauders is the next video slot from Yggdrasil this month, and this graphically-impressive slot offers an RTP of 96.10% - so it’s a better return to player than we see in many of the software provider’s games. Robin Sherwood Marauders also allows you to play from as little as 0.20 credits per spin - so those on all budgets will be able to enjoy the action! Unfortunately, we don’t know much more about the video slot as of now, but when the software provider does announce more information about Robin Sherwood Marauders we’ll put together a dedicated review page where you can learn more about the slot and play it for free, right here at Slots Temple!
9 Blazing Diamonds - Spin Play
9 Blazing Diamonds is the next release from Microgaming, and, again, it’s actually been developed by one of their partner game studios, Spin Play. 9 Blazing Diamonds offers players a fairly decent RTP of 96.33%, and the game also allows you to win as much as 10,000 times your bet - so it’s pretty decent, especially for Spin Play who, we feel it’s fair to say, aren’t known for pushing out video slots with major win-potential.
The game offers decent win-potential within the base-game, and there’s also a bonus round where you’re taken to a giant bonus wheel which allows you to win free spins, cash prizes and up to 800X your stake on a single spin!
Egyptian Tombs - Microgaming/Snowborn
Egyptian Tombs is another new release this month from one of the many software providers Microgaming uses to build their games today, and this time, the name of that game developer is Snowborn Games. Egyptian Tombs is built around a 5-reel, 5-row format, and there are not any paylines in play, with up to 3,125 "ways-to-win" active on each spin.
The game is playable from between 0.20 and 24 credits per spin, and there’s a couple of bonuses and features, the most notable of which is the Super Spins, where the game’s 10,000X win-potential can really be realized! Egyptian Tombs will be released at all Microgaming casinos on the 29th April, 2021.
Vault Cracker - Red Tiger
Vault Cracker is the next release from Red Tiger Gaming, and this cartoon-inspired video slot is built around a classic 5-reel, 3-row format. There are 10 fixed paylines in play, and the game boasts a couple of different bonuses and features.
It’s the free spins bonus round, however, that offers the most win-potential, and this is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. You can then win up to 50 free spins, and during the free spins a number of reel modifiers come into play like added wilds - and it’s also possible to re-trigger the free spins bonus round by landing another 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view.
Royal Dragon Infinity Reels - Yggdrasil
Royal Dragon Infinity Reels will be pushed out on the 29th April, 2021, although it’s not actually made by Yggdrasil; instead, it’s from one of the software provider’s partner studios called ReelPlay - the creators of the popular Infinity Reels mechanic.
Royal Dragon Infinity Reels is based around an Asian theme, and, like all Infinity Reels games before it, Royal Dragon Infinity Reels sees the number of reels increasing by one, with each subsequent win. There’s a free spins bonus round where an increasing multiplier comes into play, and this is where the game’s major win-potential is found - so it’s what most players will be looking to hit!
Court of Hearts - Play’n GO
Court of Hearts is the final release from Play’n Go this month, and while we don’t know a huge amount about the slot, as of now, we do know a few important details. First of all, players can win up to 8,500X your stake - so it’s notably more than the 5,000X maximum win we’re used to seeing in Play’n Go’s slots.
We also know that Court of Hearts has an RTP of 96.27%, and it’ll include a free spins bonus round - which is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Court of Hearts will be released on the 29th April, and will be made available across all online casinos on the date of release.
Buffalo King Megaways - Pragmatic Play
Buffalo King Megaways is the last slot we see released this month, and it’s from Pragmatic Play - a sequel to their original Buffalo King game, with this sequel utilising Big Time Gaming’s Megaways mechanic in conjunction with the original graphics and bonuses and features.
This means there’s six reels and up to 117,649-ways-to-win on every spin, and when we were testing out Buffalo King Megaways ourselves, we found the game to offer the standard array of Megaways features including cascading reels, mystery symbols and a free spins bonus round with a progresive multiplier.
