2016 is off to a great start in the slot machine market. We have heard from several developers about new games that have just been released or are in the works – many of which are branded games. Here are some of the branded slots that we are most excited about playing in 2016:
Ted
Today, Aristocrat announced the release of its new Ted slot machine – based on the comedy film of the same name. It was last year that the game first made its debut at gaming conferences, but the slot machine is only now available on casino floors.
The new Ted slot machine from Aristocrat will have 9 different bonus games, and five progressive jackpot levels!
It is also a Wonder Wheels title, which means that it will feature mechanical wheels that jump into action when bonus features are triggered.
If it’s like other branded Aristocrat slot machines, however, it is unlikely that the game will be released at online casinos any time soon. Games like The Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy made a huge splash in the land-based market several years ago but have yet to make an appearance online.
So, we’ll certainly be visiting our nearest land-based venue to give Ted a spin.
Guns n Roses
Guns n Roses is another game that we have been waiting on for quite some time. The game was announced at the beginning of 2015, and it was almost a year before we heard anything about it again.
In November 2015, Net Entertainment issued a press release stating that the game would be released in early 2016 – so, we are early awaiting the day that the game is launched online.

It looks great, doesn’t it? There are some very impressive bonus features, and the game has a fantastic soundtrack with some classic GnR tunes.
Family Guy Online Slots
Family Guy was released as a land-based slot machine from IGT several years ago. Now, it is finally available for play in the online casino world. It has fewer bonus features – but it still essentially the same game. This title was released last month, and it is available at IGT-powered online casinos.
