This week, Konami announced the launch of its new social casino game, Konami Slots. Created with PlayStudios, the app aims to bring something new to the social gaming world – but, with so many different slots apps already out there, can it succeed? Slots Temple weighs in!

One of the Only Places To Play Konami Slots Online

Konami is a leading slot machine provider in the land-based gambling environment, but the company has yet to really break into the online casino world.

As such, players are hard-pressed to find Konami slots games online.

At Konami Slots, players will find a wide range of games from this provider, including:

At the moment, there are only 11 games on the platform. This is a lot less than most other social slots games – but, Konami has plans to launch more titles in the near future.

Players can earn chips by playing slots games and bonuses are also available. Players can spend tickets to spin a bonus slot machine that offers up extra chips that players can continue to spend on slots. This is great little addition to the game, and provides players with an additional way to earn chips – but, it’s not particularly ground-breaking.

Real Rewards

This is the real selling point of Konami Slots. As you play games, you can earn rewards for a number of real gaming venues in Las Vegas. The list includes:

  • Luxor
  • Excalibur
  • New York New York
  • MGM Grand
  • Aria

For these venues, players can earn free meals, exclusive room rates, complimentary drinks and more. There are also rewards from Wolfgang Puck, Maverick Tours and Uniquely Vegas. Most of the rewards offered are from Las Vegas venues – although London’s Hippodrome and New York’s Resort World Casino also provide offers, too.

There are no Canadian casinos on the list as of yet, but it is a possibility that they will be added in the future since Konami World is still quite new. These rewards are earned with loyalty points. Players can receive these when the play games and interact with friends.

Platforms

At the moment, Konami Slots is only available on mobile platforms for Android and Apple devices. It is not yet available on desktop platforms so if you prefer the play that way, then there are plenty of other apps to choose from on the Facebook Games platform. Konami Slots will also be launched for Kindle devices in the near future.

Our Verdict

Konami Slots is a great social app. It is still quite new on the market, so there aren’t as many games as we’d like to see – but we expect many more to be added soon. It already has great reviews on both Android and Apple App stores, so players are definitely impressed so far.
