This month, Next Gen Gaming has launched its highly anticipated slots game ‘An Evening with Holly Madison’. Based on the popular Playboy icon, the game features glitz and glam, as well as some unique features that give the game a bit of ‘oomph’.

The Theme

While we are no strangers to Playboy-themed slots, we have never seen a game based on one particular model before. We’re not entirely sure who the die-hard fans of Holly Madison are, but they must be out there somewhere.

The game certainly appeals to a much smaller audience than a general Playboy game would, but we can imagine that it will see plenty of play from a wide range of casino goers.

Just In Case You Don’t Know Holly Madison…

She became well-known in the early 2000s when she was one of Hugh Hefner’s seven girlfriends. She was featured in Playboy magazine on several occasions but was never an official Playmate. Eventually, she became Hugh’s #1 Girlfriend but left that particular lifestyle in 2009.

The Look

The new Holly Madison online slots game features bright and vibrant graphics. Symbols include masquerade masks, high heeled shoes, top hats and convertible cars. Aside from that, there isn’t much going on visually.

The Bonuses

Holly Madison is the game’s wild symbol. When she appears on a reel, she substitutes for any other symbol in order to create a winning combination. Her symbol also expands to offer up more winning potential. When she’s involved in a winning combination, she points and winks – it’s quite cheesy.

There is also a re-spin bonus. Whenever two or more scatter symbols appear on the reels, the player receives a re-spin. This means that the two reels on which the scatter symbols appear remain frozen while the other reels spin, giving them the chance to increase their winning potential overall.

The free games bonus is triggered when three or more scatter symbols appear on the reels. After the free spins round, the player will trigger the Photoshoot Bonus to further increase their winnings.

Our Verdict

While we’re not particular impressed with the look of this new online slots game, we give An Evening With Holly Madison credit for being full of bonuses. There is plenty going on during the base game to keep players entertained while the multi-level off-screen bonus is also engaging.

You may be reluctant to give this game a spin at first, but it may be worth it in the end.
