Net Entertainment has recently released a new online slots game based on the sci-fi classic Aliens. The game has been highly anticipated in the online gambling market, and now it is finally available to play.
At Slots Temple, we’ve been very excited for the release of this game, so we decided to give it a test drive and let you know what we really think about the new Aliens online slots game from Net Entertainment.
The Look
We are very impressed with the look of Aliens. Upon first glance, you wouldn’t even know it was an online slots game.
The reels are made to resemble a radar and the symbols consist of realistic renderings of the creepy creatures from the film. It is certainly one of the best-looking online slots we’ve seen in a very long time.
The Bonuses
During the base game, players fill up the Alien Activity Meter with every winning symbol they obtain (wilds don’t count). Whenever a spin does not result in a win, the meter decreases by one slot. It can get quite frustrating seeing your progress decline, but it is certainly worth it when you finally fill up the meter.
The off-screen bonus round is incredible. It plays out like a first person shooter, as the player shoots down aliens in the ship. As the player travels through the craft, the reels spin automatically to grant the player coins and ammo. They can also collect ammo from fallen comrades.
As they face off against aliens, the amount of ammo they have collected is crucial; if they run out, then they are killed and the round ends. If the player is successful, they face off against the Queen.
In the third level of the bonus, the player must destroy the Queen and her Hive. Players begin the round with four ammo and five respins. As they damage the Queen, they win bigger and better prizes. For destroying the hive, a huge jackpot is won.
Our Verdict
This is one of those games that you have to play to appreciate. If we’re honest, just reading the rules was a bit too confusing and almost put us off actually playing. When you first encounter the off-screen bonuses, they are a little bit difficult to understand at first, but you’ll get the hang of it very quickly.
Fans of classic slots may not be impressed by all of the bells and whistles, but modern gamers will really appreciate all of the interactive features.
