Theme

Often times, when a new pirate-themed slot comes out, we tend to say ‘so what?’ – but, Hook’s Heroes puts a different spin on it.

Hook’s Heroes has a pirate theme, but it is all a play. In the opening sequence of the game, you can see that it is all a performance that is being put on by a group of mischievous little kids.

Overall, this is quite an interesting a quirky theme, and we appreciate Net Entertainment taking a different angle.

Graphics

The graphics are the real highlight of Hook’s Heroes online slot. The game features a patchwork art style, which is something that we don’t tend to see very often in online slots games. It is a very creative and unique aesthetic, and it really sets this game apart from other new releases.

Bonuses

The great thing about Hook’s Heroes is its range of bonus features. There are three separate bonuses that can be triggered at any time during the base game. They are randomly triggered, so if you’re really lucky, you can look forward to cashing in on bonus prizes fairly often.

  • Pirate Bonus – all paylines are done away with. Instead of calculating wins based on the number of symbols that appear on each payline, any like symbols that appear on the screen at the same time will award a winning combination.
  • Fairy Bonus – between two and five random wild symbols are added to the reels.
  • Mermaid Bonus – a 2x multiplier is applied to all wins. It becomes a 4x multiplier if a wild is involved in the winning combination.
