Mythology is always a popular theme among online slots developers. There are plenty of games out there that focus on different types of myths – from Greek to Norse to Roman.

Many of these games feature several different gods and goddesses – but, we wanted to pick out the titles that shine the spotlight on just one particular Greek deity at a time.

Here's our list of popular Greek God slots games:

Kronos Slots from Williams Interactive (WMS)

In Greek mythology, Kronos was the leader of the first generation of Titans. He was the father of Zeus and known as the God of Time. Kronos is a classic slot machine that you can find in both the online and land-based gambling worlds. It is based on the original Zeus slots game from WMS, and they are both quite basic games.

There isn’t much going on aside from stacked Kronos symbols and a free spins game.

Triton’s Treasure from Real Time Gamng (RTG)

Son of Poseidon, Triton is the messenger of the sea. He is represented as a merman figure with the tail of fish and the torso and head of a man. The Triton’s Treasure online slots game features a lovely underwater theme. The game is quite standard with wild symbols, scatter symbols and a free spins round.

Aside from that, there are no other bonus features to draw you to the game and we were pretty underwhelmed.

Zeus III from WMS

Zeus is the king of the Greek Gods and he ruled Mount Olymus. He has been popularised in movies as the father of Hercules. WMS has developed an entire series of Zeus slots but the third instalment is our favourite. The first two were quite basic, and we were not particularly blown away by the gameplay – but Zeus III is different.

The game features a unique set of tapered reels that offer players the chance to trigger one of 192 different winning combinations with each spin. The volatility in this game is quite high, making it very exciting and fun.

Medusa II from NYX Gaming

Medusa was not a god per-say, but she is an important figure in Greek mythology. With snakes for hair, she had a gaze that would turn people to stone if they looked directly into her eyes. Medusa II is another game that is part of a series of which we really only enjoy one game.

Medusa II is a sequel game which presents plenty of great bonuses for players to enjoy. All of the features play off of the legend of Medusa’s stone gaze. As such, there are symbols that lock together and soldiers that turn to stone to reveal stacked wilds.

We also enjoy the addition to 3D graphics to add a little bit of spice to the game’s design.
