This month, NetEntertainment has released two new, vibrant online slots games: WishMaster and Lights. Both games have been lauded by players and operators alike. So, we wanted to see if the games would pass our own standards. Of course, we do love Net Entertainment game at Slots Temple – but we wanted to see if these two new titles live up to the hype.
Lights – Design
Lights is one of the prettiest online slots we’ve seen in quite some time. The colour scheme is beautiful and bold without being overstated or gaudy. The symbols feature sparkling lanterns with Asian motifs. It is just a gorgeous game to look at.
Not to mention – it has a beautiful soundtrack. We could just sit and listen to the chilled out backing track for hours.
Lights – Gameplay and Bonuses
Lights introduces what has become one of our favourite bonus features: the floating wild symbol. At the start of every spin, random wild symbols float above spaces on the reels.
When the reels stop, the wilds stick into place and help to create winning combinations. It adds a little bit of excitement to an otherwise very relaxed online slots game.
There is also a free spins round, during which players can win up to 30 free spins.
WishMaster – Design
It is always interesting to see the unique range of games that comes from NetEntertainment. By placing screenshots of Lights and WishMaster side-by-side, you wouldn’t expect that they were designed by the same company. It is truly a testament to how versatile NetEntertainment’s games are.
WishMaster features a more cartoon-based design with a darker colour scheme and Arabian motifs. It almost harkens Disney’s Aladdin with the setting and typography.
WishMaster – Gameplay and Bonuses
When the scatter symbol appears anywhere on the reels, the genie comes out of his lamp and grants the player wishes. These include generous bonuses such as extra wilds, wild reels, expanding wilds, random wilds and multipliers.
Since you only require one scatter symbol to trigger this feature, it sounds like it should be quite frequent – but we found ourselves spinning for quite a while before we released the genie from his lamp.
Our Verdict
Neither of these new NetEntertainment slots offers up an off-screen bonus, but we really didn’t mind. The on-screen bonuses and innovative gameplay were enough to keep us hooked.
