Fate of Thrones’ bonus mode, called Castle Siege, is a very different style of gameplay to the base game. It’s not a slots game anymore: you get to fire a cannon at a castle, which is surprisingly satisfying.

You control a cannon with your mouse and take aim at different parts of a snow-covered castle. This isn’t a test of skill: you will hit whatever section you aim at. Every section you hit is worth a prize, but you won’t know what each section was worth until after you take your three shots. There are fifteen different areas to aim at, so fifteen prizes from 10 up to 1000, with an equal chance of winning each prize.

Again, it’s a little difficult to see the prizes on offer because they’re not on screen for very long - which is nice, because it means you’ll be pleased with what you got instead of disappointed if you miss out on the top prize.

Overall Review

Fate of Thrones by Funfair Technology is a great addition to Slots Temple’s line-up of fantasy themed slots. The animations and soundtrack make it feel like a truly epic experience that fantasy fans will appreciate. Compared to other slots games, the prizes are epic too, and the game’s relatively low volatility means you can expect frequent wins.
