The story behind the game

According to legend, two young men went out hunting to get meat one day long ago. As they were preparing to make their first kill, a beautiful woman approached them dressed in buckskin.

When they looked at her, the first man quickly averted his eyes, recognizing her to be a sacred being. The second man stared at the beautiful woman, overwhelmed by her fabulous beauty and grace.

The woman, a descendent of a white buffalo calf spirit, beckoned him to her. As he walked towards her, entranced, a cloud of dust whipped up around them, hiding them from view.

When the dust finally settled, the first young man was horrified to see his companion had been reduced to a pile of bones beside the woman. She explained to him that she had simply given his friend his heart’s desire: to live a lifetime, die and decay.

The young hunter fled. When he returned to his tribe, he told them about what had happened. The woman followed the young man and stayed with the tribe for a while. She taught them about healing, purification, ceremonies and marriage, and how to capture the power of the Earth to achieve a better way of life.

She acknowledged the young hunter's respect in not meeting her gaze when they met.

As she was leaving them, the woman promised to look in on them from time to time to bring them health and happiness. Walking away, she turned into a black buffalo.

As she walked even further, her color gradually transformed to a gleaming white, giving the legend its name.

Legend of the White Buffalo features a number of references to the original myth. The woman herself is a lucky symbol, along with the white buffalo in animal form. Players can win more than 120 free spins when the right combination lands on the reels.

Unlike many slots, game play goes from both right to left and left to right, increasing the possibilities for payouts. Tomahawks, urns and wild cards all add a sense of mystery and magic to the gaming experience, with bright graphics and high-quality visuals.
