Lost Treasure is based on the ancient civilisations of Central America, and the screen opens with a view of the mystical entrance to a pyramid set deep in the jungle featuring exotic plants moving in a gentle breeze.

The symbols appear on stone cylinders set inside a wooden frame, with the paylines marked by precious gems. Above the reels a golden wheel, marked with ancient symbols, spins to mark the entrance.
