Theme & Story 

This game combines the classic fruity theme of slots gone by with a retro pixel art theme reminiscent of early video games. Beyond the reels, a purple-hued background hazes over the Japanese shop signs in the distance. The reels feature clunky pixel images of fruit symbols, including cherries, kiwi, apple, lemon, strawberry and plums. The music, also inspired by early video games, is a soft electronic soundtrack with chirpy sound effects.

How to Play Lucky 9

1. Simply select a total wager from the amounts listed along the bottom of the screen (between 0.20 and 100.00, for a respective bet per line of 0.01 and 5.00).
2. To the right of the wager selection area is a small button with three chillies. Use this to select low, medium or high volatility. 
3. To the right of this are the spin and autospin buttons. If you choose to set the autospin function, click the smaller of these two buttons and select between 10 and 1000 automated spins.
4. Just above the autospin button is a small tortoise icon. Hit this to change the game speed. There are three speed levels. 
5. View the paytable by locating the ‘i’ button to the lower left of the reels.
6. To the right of this are various other settings options, including sounds, music, screen size and lite mode. 
7. You can also buy in to the free spins feature, with a choice of a x1, x3, x6 or x9 multiplier.

Wild

The wild symbol substitutes for all symbols with the exception of the Scatter, Multipliers and extra Free Spins symbol. 

Variable Win Multipliers

Variable Win Multipliers are in play at all times. They are either x1, x3, x6 or x9. The current active win multiplier is highlighted above the reels. The win multiplier will land on the reels and activate that multiplier on all subsequent wins until a new win multiplier lands.

Should a x9 multiplier become active, it will remain active as nine lucky (free) spins are played. 

Free Spins

Landing at least three scatters will trigger ten free spins. If the x9 multiplier is drawn during the free spins or is triggered, it will remain in place for the whole feature; no lower multiplier win symbols will appear for the duration of the feature. More free spins can be awarded during the feature by the appearance of a 3FS, 6FS or 9FS bonus symbol, handing out three, six or nine additional free spins respectively.
