Introduction

When Big Time Gaming released its first Megaways game in 2015, the mechanic took the gaming industry by storm. Game studios were lined up around the block to license Megaways and use them in their own games – and now, years later, the process seems to be repeating itself with ReelPlay’s Infinity Reels feature.

Theme and Graphics

Martian Miner Infinity Reels has a unique layout to it, with reels that are designed for portrait view on mobile devices. The reels sit in the middle of the screen with the desolate, red terrain of Mars sprawled across the background.

The RTP (return to player) of Martian Miner Infinity Reels is 96.03%. It’s also a medium-high volatility slot game, which we normally tend to see amongst Infinity Reels slots.

How to Win

In this game, you have to land five matching symbols. Your symbols have to land from top to bottom, though, rather than left to right as is the case in most other slots.

Like all Infinity Reels slots, new reels are added whenever a winning symbol appears in the last reel. In this case, the last reel is actually the bottom row. New rows will continue to be added to the game as long as you keep landing winning symbols in that row.

Although this is called an Infinity Reels slot, there is actually a limit to how far you can dig. You can only reach a depth of 76 rows while playing this game.

Extra Wilds

Once you’ve added five reels, extra wilds will be added to the base game in Martian Miner Infinity Reels.

Teleport Reel Modifier

Throughout the base game, you may encounter a feature called the Teleport Reel Modifier. This feature will transport you to random depth with the appropriate upgraded symbols.

Free Spins and Bonuses

To trigger the free spins round in Martian Miner Infinity Reels, you’ll have to add 10 reels to the base game. The number of free spins you receive is determined by how much free spin fuel you’ve managed to collect – up to a maximum of 20 free spins.

So, you keep digging deeper and deeper into the ground, and discovering more valuable minerals as you go. As you reach new depths, your less valuable mineral symbols will transform into more valuable gems.

Overall Review

Martian Miner Infinity Reels has a great concept in the overall design and format. BB Games has created an interesting gaming experience for players – but, it can be really confusing.
