How to Play Mermaid Pays

1. Once the game loads, you'll see a splash screen giving an overview of the features. Toggle the sound on or off if required and touch the arrow to continue. The sound can also be adjusted in-game.

As with many slot games, Mermaid Pays has a bonus feature triggered by three scatters, granting 10 free spins. During the free spins the mermaid becomes a second wild, although she cannot substitute for the dolphin wild or the scatter. Each time there is a win and one or more mermaids are on the reels, each mermaid will match that win, multiplying it.

While we weren't able to witness the mystery replacement feature in action during our test run, there is plenty of excitement during the bonus feature. The mermaid transforms from a regular paytable symbol to a wild, although unlike Push Gaming's online slot machine Fat Rabbit slot, where the two wilds interact to extend free spins, the mermaid also becomes a multiplier, leaving it to the scatter to add the extra spins.
