Introduction

ELYSIUM Studios is a fairly new player in the online slot industry, with offices in Bulgaria, the Isle of Man, Malta and Sweden. They’ve built a strong reputation in the past couple of years, and the arrival of any new ELYSIUM Studios slots is always welcome. In our Wizardz World slot review we’ll explain amongst other things the game play, the pay-out system and how the bonus game works. It’s a relatively simple game which despite its elaborate graphics has more in common with classics like the Fishin Frenzy free slot than you might think when it first loads.

Wizardz World has five reels and three rows with 20 paylines. The minimum bet size is 0.2 and the maximum is 40. There are six high-value symbols, which are the wizards from different factions, Earth, Fire and Water. The low-value symbols are a book of spells, a crystal ball, a potion bottle and the four card suits. The wild is the wizard professor.

Theme, Graphics and Soundtrack

This is very imaginatively designed game which makes the most of its fantastical theme. The immensely detailed backdrop depicts a cityscape of castles in a misty, rainy night. The characters and objects are nicely animated, so the screen never seems static. The soundtrack is a slightly generic piece of music but strikes the right tone of mystery and menace.

Wizardz World RTP and Variance

Wizardz World has an RTP of 96.00, and its volatility or variance is medium

How to Play Wizardz World

  1. The values related to each symbol represent stake multipliers rather than credits. They are listed on the Symbol Wins page in the Pays Menu.
  2. All wins pay when symbols match a payline pattern from left to right when landing on the reels.
  3. The prize value from one payline is equal to the total stake divided by the number of paylines then multiplied by the symbol multiplier in the Paytable. When several wins occur on multiple win lines, the total values are added together. If more than one win occurs on the same payline, only the largest win is paid. Each individual payline pays only once per spin.
  4. First select your bet level by clicking the Bet button and choose from the menu.
  5. Click the play button to start the reels spinning. You can also press the space bar. Press
  6. If you want the game to play automatically, click the smaller play button to activate autoplay. Choose 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100 spins. The number of spins remaining is shown on the main play button, and you can exit this mode by clicking on the number counter.
  7. Scatter wins pay in addition to any other symbol wins.
  8. Gambling on an online slot is strictly an adult entertainment, and we would urge you to play gambling games responsibly. That’s why we support initiatives like BeGambleAware. It should always be fun, so if you stop enjoying yourself you should quit. Before you spend any money, try the free slot version, and if you do decide to bet then please use the time-out and exclusion functions in your account.

Wizardz World Bonus Features

Bonus Game

The bonus stage is triggered when one of the two bars on the sides of the slot frame is filled. This happens when a Fat Tile Wizard appears across the whole reel. Blue Wizards, part of the Light Wizards’ Faction, fill the Blue Bar. Green Wizards, which are part of the Dark Wizards’ Faction, fill the Green Bar.

The bonus level gives you the chance to choose one of three wizards, each representing an element - Water, Fire or Earth - to begin the battle between the wizards.

Earth beats Water
Water beats Fire
Fire beats Earth

If you win the first round, you can play another round. The game continues until your opponent wins. At the end you receive a multiplier sum and the bonus stage ends. On a random basis a nudge will make a Fat Tile fully visible.

Wizardz World Review: Our Verdict

The base game is uncomplicated but enlivened by the visuals. There’s a sense of anticipation as you watch the green and blue bars either side of the grid gradually fill up until the one-to-one battle of the wizards begins. The battle scene looks as good as the base game, and there’s a genuine tension once you’ve chosen your wizard to see if the mystery opponent will turn out to be a winner or loser. When we played this to write our slot review, we found it to be a very satisfying experience.
