Microgaming has entered into a deal with Big Time Gaming that will allow the company to produce its own Megaways slots, according to a press release published in Microgaming's website. Joining the likes of Blueprint Gaming, Red Tiger and Pragmatic Play, Microgaming will be an official Megaways slot producer – with its first game in the series slated for January 2021.

When Will Microgaming’s First Megaways Be Released?

Microgaming has plans to release its first Megaways slot game in January. It will have a network-wide launch, which means that you’ll be able to give this game a spin at any online casino that carries Microgaming slots.

The first Microgaming slot to feature Megaways will be Shamrock Holmes. While all we know about it so far is the title, we’re definitely excited to see what they come up with gameplay-wise.

Microgaming’s Nobleways Slots

Microgaming previously experimented with mechanics similar to Megaways with games like Mayan Eagle Nobleways. The game takes place on a 6x6 grid, which provides players with 15,625 winning ways on each spin along with cascading reels.

It also features a free spins bonus with unlimited increasing multipliers – something that you see often in Megaways games. However, despite offering players a fun and interesting online gaming experience (and an impressive 13,000x top prize), Mayan Eagle Nobleways lacks the dynamic nature of Megaways games in which the number of ways to win is different on every spin.
