Thailand is famous for its Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, form of combat. As well as fists it uses feet, shins and elbows. The reels here have all the kit you need for a fight, including shorts and gloves, as well as a few fighters, each with their own personality. If there’s one problem, it’s that the reels are small relative to the background. The graphics aren’t incredibly detailed, but they do fully represent the theme.

The soundtrack combines some oriental notes with a fast drum beat to get the blood pumping. It’s the sort of music you’d imagine playing while Sylvester Stallone is fighting in Rocky. Extra visual interest is added by the two fighters - Muay Boran, who’s obviously the hero, bouncing at the left of the reels, and a more suspicious character, named Brother Bear, lurking just behind the reels at the top - both of whom are constantly animated. There’s obviously a story behind these characters, especially when reels cascade and our hero strikes them for more symbols. Here’s what you do when you step into the ring. Don’t worry, you won’t have to take any punches yourself.
