Chariots of Fire is a Roman themed slot focusing on the horse-pulled carts used in Ancient Rome for the dangerous sport of racing.

Animation is simple, such as with card symbols glowing and fire raging behind them on combination wins. Overall, the aesthetics could have been a little better, but it’s still a modern-looking slot that keeps things simple.

The design and graphics are a little disappointing, but we can look beyond that given the simple gameplay and atmospheric soundtrack. Players preferring an impressive design and distinctive features may be underwhelmed here. The RTP is on the disappointing side, but the super-low starting stake is very appealing, and the comfortable mid-way point of medium volatility may appeal to more players. There are some relatively decent wins on offer from the bonuses, but whether the much higher rollers would be satisfied with the top stake and top prize on offer here remains to be seen.
