How Impressive Are King Cobra’s Graphics? 

We absolutely loved the look of this game. The colours are moody and atmospheric, and the game is alive with animations. We didn’t actually immediately notice the other cobra wrapped around the tree just behind the game, but that made us jump! There are also extra animations when you land a bonus - for example, a monsoon is released whenever you trigger the Poison Spins.

How to Play

King Cobra has a very easy playing style, but here's a quick overview of the base game to get you started:

1. Once the game has launched, click on the three-line menu button to open up the slot’s settings. 
2. Press the ‘i’ button to see information about the game, including the full paytable.
3. You can also hit the larger + sign (next to the spin button) to access the quick settings, including changing the music, hitting the max bet and turning on the quick spin function.
4. Press the coin symbol and use the + and - symbols to change the bet level.
5. Hit the spin button to start the game. You can also use the Autoplay feature to play automatically. 
6. Practise responsible slots gambling by setting a limit for your playing session.

How to Win

King Cobra has an exciting look but a standard slots gameplay. There are 20 paylines in the King Cobra slot spread over the five-reel by five-row game grid. Wins are scored by matching at least three winning symbols on one of the paylines, moving from left to right across the screen. 

Top Symbols

There are nine winning symbols in the whole of the game, split between higher-paying game-themed tiles and lower-paying playing card suits (which have been coolly set into snake eggs). The best-paying symbol is the mongoose, which offers a max win of 12x the current bet for matching five symbols on a payline. The smallest win comes from the playing card suits, which all provide a top payout potential of 2x.

Betting Limits

Bets in King Cobra start lower than a snake’s belly, at 0.05, and go up to 25. This should be fine for casual slots players, but higher rollers might be disappointed.

King Cobra Bonus Features

The King Cobra slot has several decent bonus features to get your teeth into, including a free spins bonus and mystery wild multipliers. There is also a wild symbol which can appear on the middle three reels and replace all other game icons, apart from the scatter symbol.

Mystery Wild Multipliers

The Golden Cobras are win multiplier symbols which can supersize your prizes by 2x, 3x or 5x. 

Poison Spins

Landing three of the scatter symbol gives you three Poison Spins. Throughout the spins, only Green, Golden and Epic Golden cobras can land on the reels alongside cracked egg symbols, which have no value. Landing any of these snake symbols resets your spin counter to three, so this has the potential to keep going for longer than a normal 10 round free spins bonus. The different cobras have different functions, including a win multiplier. You’ll also see various win multipliers above the screen which start at 1x at the beginning of the Poison Spins round, but can go up to:

When there are no spins left, the multiplier values above the reels are added together and multiplied by the current bet.
