Theme and Graphics

Little Bighorn is an online slot developed by Nolimit City that features a theme inspired by the Battle of Little Big Horn which took place during the Great Sioux War of 1876. The game features dramatic graphics which depict the battle with reels set atop a fiery red background.

The overall look of Little Bighorn is just as impressive as other Nolimit City slots, like Tombstone RIP and Das xBoot. There is an air of realism while still maintaining a comic book-style of the aesthetic.

How to Win

In the Little Bighorn slot, the reels are laid out in a 3-4-5-3-2 formation, which provides players with 360 ways to win. To hit a win, you must land three or more matching symbols in a row from left-to-right.

The most generous symbols in the game offer a top prize of 3.75x. However, like most Nolimit City slots, the bigger wins come from triggering the bonus features.

Bonuses Features

Like most slots from this developer, Little Bighorn comes with a wide array of bonus features:

Scalp Wild

This symbol can only land on the reel that is 5 symbols tall. When it lands, all soldiers are transformed into wild symbols and the main symbol nudges into place to fill all 5 symbol positions on the reels. For every nudge, the transformed symbols increase their multiplier by +1.

Totem Scatters

These symbols can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. Landing two of them during the base game will turn them into fully stacked wilds.

Spirit Call Respin

The No Mercy Scatter symbol appears only on the fifth reel. When it lands, it moves to the first reel and triggers a respin while transforming into a special type of wild:

  • Crazy Horse: turns all Crazy Horse symbols into wilds with a multiplier equal to the number of Crazy Horse symbols that are present on the reels.
  • Sitting Bull: turns all Sitting Bull symbols into expand wilds
  • Two Moon: turns all Two Moon symbols into wilds

Free Spins

There are also several free spins rounds in Little Bighorn:

Scalp Free Spins

Landing three Totem Scatters will trigger 8 Scalp free spins. During this bonus, every Scalp Wild on the board increases the overall multiplier by +1. Any scatters that land become expanded wilds and provide an additional free spin.

Spirit Call Free Spins

Should you land three Totem Scatters and a No Mercy Scatter, you’ll get 10 Spirit Call free spins. Everything in this bonus is the same as in the Scalp free spins but there is a No Mercy scatter symbol that remains locked on the first reel and the reel formation changes to allow for more generous winning combinations.
