The game is played on a 5x3-reel grid with just 10 paylines. Although this doesn’t seem like much, the paylines pay both ways, so you can land winning combinations on adjacent reels running from left to right or right to left.

To win, simply line up three+ matching symbols along one of the active paylines. The question mark symbol acts as a wild in this slot, with the ability to magically replace any symbol excluding the bonus symbol to maximise your winning chances.

Conclusion

Overall, we enjoyed Magic Crystal. It is a relatively simple slot without a free spins bonus round or exciting extras; nonetheless, we found the theme very enjoyable with detailed graphics and a decent soundtrack that didn’t send us searching for the mute button. The cascading wins feature provided us with plenty of winning opportunities and we credit this for the decent RTP of 96 per cent. We quite liked the incorporation of a gamble feature mid-game and were happy to discover it is still playable even with autospins active (games will often skip a gamble feature when autospins are enabled).
