The graphics are extremely well produced and the whole theme is very well put together. There is a nice amount of animation used, such as the glowing embers floating up behind the game board and the rats that scurry across the bottom.

The soundtrack is simply made up of different sound effects that you hear as you play. For example, there are short bursts of atmospheric music as the reels spin.

Monster Domination Bonus Features 

The Battle feature is where the bonus fun’s at in Monster Domination. There are 3 monster symbols that feature in it: Frankenstein, Siren, and Carmilla. To get access to the feature, players must land 3 or more scatters (to get 5 spins) or can enter the feature by filling the monster meters that you see at the top of the board in the base game.

Once in the Battle feature, the player is randomly allocated one of the 3 monster characters. There will be a variety of enemy symbols that appear on the reels that must be defeated to progress. The enemies have 4 different strength levels that increase as you progress. Each time an enemy is defeated within 5 spins, players will progress to face the next strength level of enemy and will receive a further 5 free spins.

At the end of each round, a bonus prize chest is awarded: stronger enemies mean a higher chance of there being bigger potential prizes in the chest.

Overall Monster Domination Review 

Monster Domination is one of the best Golden Hero free play slots so far, in our opinion. The graphics are well-produced, and the theme is fun and mysterious. We particularly liked the 3 monster characters: the sassy looking Carmilla was our favourite.
The game rules were a little difficult to understand at first as the bonus feature seems complex to start: in reality though, it’s just a free spins round with a story to it. This was fun to play but did take a while to trigger.
