How to play Treetop Treasures

For those who are new to this type of game, here are a few tips on how to play Treetop Treasures.

1.    Once the opening screen loads, click “continue”.

2.    When the game loads, look to the right of the dashboard at the bottom of the screen and click “I” to read the game rules.

3.    Follow the rules by returning to the main screen and selecting the number of tickets you wish to play with by clicking “select ticket” to the far left of the dashboard. You can choose by wagering on ten or 20 tickets.

Bonus features and the fruit fall bonus

In the base game, the only bonus is the golden egg symbol, which will crack open to reveal a surprise win.

To the enter the fruit fall bonus mode, a player must uncover three plums, four bananas or coconuts, five watermelons or six pineapples. On each reveal, you will see the fruit gauges to the right of the screen fill up to reflect the grid.

Once into the fruit fall bonus, you will begin to play with the fruit that gained you entry. For example, if you landed three plums, the game will start with plums being shaken from a treetop, falling down a bagatelle-style board and bouncing into five pots with multipliers. A central pot will change the fruit to that indicated on the pot if a falling fruit drops into it. Multipliers on the remaining pots will either increase or decrease depending on the change of fruit.

This bonus round ends when a total of three fruits drop into the hollow tree stump marked X. At this point, you collect the accumulated multiple to apply to your individual stake.

Our verdict

This is a great, innovative game that makes a pleasant change from basic slots. The theme and graphics are fun and the bonus game can lead to big wins.

Our main gripe is with the base game which, due to its low volatility, can eat into your bankroll. We went well over 150 reveals without triggering the bonus game, and the number of individual fruits that appear in the base game seem designed to tease the player.

Once into fruit falls, however, with a bit of luck, you can land one of the higher multiplier fruits and boost your winnings in dramatic fashion.

This game is well worth a try if you are looking for a change from standard slots.
