Baccarat Dare2Win Overview

The history of baccarat isn’t entirely clear, but it probably descended from similar games in East Asia, brought back to Europe by sailors. There are 3 commonly played variations: punto banco, chemin de fer, and baccarat banque. Baccarat Dare2Win is closest to punto banco because whether more cards are drawn or not is based on a strict set of rules called the tableau.

Hacksaw casino games under the Dare2Win banner are considered instant win games. This includes crash games, dice games, plinko, and other card games like blackjack, so it’s probably not a surprise that baccarat has made an appearance. In this game, all you need to do is bet on whether the banker or the player will win, or if there will be a tie.

How to Play Baccarat Dare2Win

Winning baccarat is about being the participant whose hand scores closest to 9, but for you as a player, your success depends on whether you bet on the correct outcome. Will you go with the Player or the Banker, or will you take an even bigger risk and wager on a tie?

Choose Your Bet Amount

You can choose how much you want to bet, as long as it’s at least 10p, from the control panel on the left. There are up and down arrows to decide an appropriate level. Choose your stake by considering your budget. What will make for a sustainable game where the risk is balanced with your limits?

Player, Banker or Tie?

Now you have to move to the table so you can lay that bet on the Player or the Banker. There is also a tie option. It is possible to bet on Player and tie at the same time, or on Banker and tie together, but you can’t wager on both the Player and the Banker during the same round. If you are not happy with your original choice, as long as you’re between hands, you can use the undo or clear buttons to remove your current bet.

Cards are dealt

When your stake is how you want it, you can click the actual bet button to start the game. Each participant, the Player and the Banker, receives 2 cards. Each card is instantly revealed when it is drawn. An 8 or 9 (a natural) means neither participant can draw again. If the total is less than 5, a set of rules known as the tableau governs whether either participant can draw a third card or whether they have to stand.

Tableau

For the Player, drawing a 6 or 7 with their first 2 cards means they must stand, and there is no option to draw again. They can only draw a third card if their total is less than 5. If the Player stands on their 6 or 7, the Banker must follow the same rules: standing on a 6 or 7 or drawing on 5 or less.

If the player draws a third card, the rules for the banker are a little more complicated:

  • 2 or less: Banker always draws.

  • 3: Banker draws unless Player’s third card is an 8.

  • 4: Banker draws if Player’s third card is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7.

  • 5: Banker draws if Player’s third card is 4, 5, 6 or 7.

  • 6: Banker draws if Player’s third card is 6 or 7.

Values are Calculated

Cards from 1–9 are worth their face value, whilst 10, jack, queen and king = 0. Aces are worth 1. Winning is based on which participant’s hand is closest to 9. If you bet on the right outcome, you’ll receive a payout.

What next?

Now it’s up to you whether to bet on another hand or walk away. Consider your play time, budget, loss limit and single win limit to ensure responsible play.

Betting Options

Start this game by choosing an appropriate bet level, with 10p minimum. You can bet on:

  • Player

  • Banker

  • Tie

You can combine a tie bet with either Player or Banker, but not Player and Banker together.

Payouts

Paytable:

  • Player win: 2x your stake

  • Tie: 9x your stake

  • Banker win: 1.95x your stake

If you bet on both a tie and a participant and the round ends in a tie, your Player or Banker bet is returned.

Optimal Strategy

Unlike some online casino games, there’s not a lot of gameplay strategy in Baccarat Dare2Win because the tableau controls all decisions.

Your control comes from playing responsibly: set limits, stick to your budget, and use timeout or self-exclusion tools if needed.

Game Controls

  1. The grey control panel on the left shows your balance and any wins.

  2. Use the arrows to adjust your stake (minimum 10p).

  3. The bottom row includes sound/music settings and an info page.

  4. Click the bet button, then choose Player, Banker or Tie.

  5. Use undo within the same round or clear to remove a bet.

Design and Graphics

The game uses a sober blue patterned table background with graffiti-style white lettering for labels. The cards feature an “H” for Hacksaw Gaming, and the bold suit symbols are sharply edged. Red is the brightest visual element, contrasted by green buttons on the grey control panel.

FAQs

What is the tableau in Baccarat Dare2Win?

It’s the system of rules that governs when the Player or Banker can draw a third card and when they have to stand. No one draws again if the first 2 cards reveal a natural 8 or 9. The Player also stands on a 6 or 7, while drawing for anything lower. What the Banker does depends on whether the Player stands or draws.

What is the RTP for the Baccarat Dare2Win base game?

It doesn’t have one fixed RTP. The figure depends on where you’re laying your bets. The maximum RTP is only available if you put your money on the Banker winning, but even then, there's not any kind of guarantee of a result. That top RTP comes out at 98.94%.

What is the top prize available in Baccarat Dare2Win?

There are 3 possible payouts when you play Baccarat Dare2Win. If you bet on the Banker and the Banker wins, you’ll receive 1.95x your bet. If you bet on a successful Player outcome, that rises to 2x. The top prize is for the rarest result: a tie. Wager on a tie, and you could be awarded 9x your stake.

Does Baccarat Dare2Win have any side bets?

This is a game without any side bets or bonus features. The only wagers available are on the Player to win, the Banker to win, a tie, or a combination of Player win/tie or Banker win/tie. You can’t ever bet on the Player and the Banker winning in the same round of the game.
