Introduction

Assassinating Signal is a high-drama 5x3 reel slot. It features 20 paylines and a generous paytable with a top-paying golden samurai symbol worth x150. A colourful assortment of other warriors are also high-value.

This slot has a lot to offer in terms of reel features. Wilds are always an exciting addition to any slot, but even more so here, where they come with multipliers! Each wild can be multiplied by up to x3, and if you land a few, those multipliers will combine!

It doesn’t end there, however. Assassinating Signal also offers up to 20 free spins, a number that seasoned online slot veterans will immediately recognise as well above average. A special hidden dagger symbol even pays out regardless of position, so it doesn’t need to land on a payline.

Assassinating Signal is brimming with potential, and you can try your luck amongst the ninjas at Fun Ta Gaming slot demos, where it’s available for free!

Theme, Graphics & Design

Few slots build atmosphere as effectively as Assassinating Signal. Music plays a big part, and the heavy, bombastic overtures of an imperial march give the slot a brooding feel. Drumbeats and rumbles of thunder echo in the distance, ensuring high tension even before the first spin!

Swaying golden flags and a pair of dragon statues on either side of the reels up the ante still further and enhance the military vibe. Assassinating Signal feels perpetually on the point of boiling over, which makes it incredibly exciting to play.

Symbol design is extremely effective, too, especially the ninjas and warriors who stare out of the screen with their weapons drawn. We would have liked to see a few more bonus games other than just free spins, and the menu system can be a little confusing, but on a slot that’s otherwise so well conceived, this isn’t a huge omission.

Assassinating Signal RTP & Volatility

Fun Ta Gaming hadn't made the RTP and volatility figures of the slot available when we wrote this review, but we do know that the top win on Assassinating Signal is x500. Big wins don’t come easily on any slot, however.

How to play Assassinating Signal

Assassinating Signal’s menu system can be a tad confusing if you’re new to the slot, so we think it’s worth consulting this guide before you begin.

1. You’ll notice a small upward-facing arrow towards the bottom right of the reels. Press this, and then press the tiny “i” button.

2. This opens the game control menu. Scroll through all the information on the paytable, paylines, and those tantalising bonus features.

3. The red cross closes this menu and takes you back to the slot.

4. Your wager is adjustable in increments of one, and you can do this using the bet control buttons just beneath the reels.

5. The slot does offer autoplay, but without loss/win limits or the option to choose your desired number of spins. Instead, pressing “auto” starts the reels spinning indefinitely, and pressing it again stops them.

6. Assassinating Signal is best enjoyed responsibly, so decide on your budget before pressing play!

Bet & Win Sizes

On Assassinating Signal, you can bet as much as 500 on a single spin, or as little as 1. The highest-value symbol is a golden samurai, and landing x5 of these earns you x150.

There are plenty more winning combinations across the paytable, so let’s see how much they all pay out.

Five golden samurais = x 150

Five red warriors = x 120

Five green warriors = x 100

Five copper warriors = x 80

Five As = x 60

Five Ks = x 40

Five Qs = x 30

Five Js = x 20

Five 10s = x 10

20 paylines offer several great ways to win, and the biggest payout you can earn on Assassinating Signal is x500.

Assassinating Signal bonus features

Assassinating Signal is hardly loaded with bonus features, but its combination of free spins and wilds is extremely effective.

Multiplier wilds

Wild symbols appear in the base game, and they can come with win multipliers of up to x3. This is a brilliant feature on its own, but it’s made even better because the multipliers will combine. For example, landing a x2 and x3 multiplier gives you x5 your winnings!

Free spins

The special golden scroll symbol awards free spins depending on how many you can land. Three symbols give you 10 spins, four awards 15, and landing five triggers 20 spins! That’s one of the highest totals you’ll find anywhere, and it's exceptionally generous.

Free spin multipliers

During the free spins round, there’s a chance that a special x5 multiplier wild will appear. This can happen on any spin, and if you’re lucky, it can even combine with the lower-level wilds from the base game.

Final Thoughts

There aren’t many online slots that come even close to matching the immersive quality of Assassinating Signal. Its world building and atmosphere are second to none, but there’s plenty more going on beneath the surface to warrant attention.

Assassinating Signal awards a very generous number of free spins, even more so when you add in the potential for a x5 multiplier to appear randomly during the round. Our favourite feature was the multiplier wilds. The simplicity of this feature belies its big potential, and watching the multipliers combine is undeniably thrilling.

This is a slot to savour and one with nearly endless replay value. If you’re searching for a game that will transport you to another world, Assassinating Signal won’t disappoint.

Action adventure slots always come with an added dose of drama, and if you’re looking for more action, we recommend giving the Hanzo's Dojo slot a play, too!
