Once Upon a Time..
The reels are found on a sandy beach and are held up by two palm trees. The reels are made from a log and rock pulley system and are home to a great bunch of symbols that include dinosaur-related icons and traditional casino symbols. Low scorers include the cute Dinomo baby dinosaur, the Back in Time logo and the aptly named Dinomite symbol.
High scorers include three different coloured dinosaur eggs, with the red being the highest. Three or more red eggs on a payline and bets are multiplied by 250. The reels are also home to the Rock Bonus symbol, which we'll explore further later on in the review. A Wild pops up randomly and will substitute for all symbols expect for the Bonus Symbol.
Make a Rock-Solid Bet
Wagering involves choosing a Coin Value of £0.02 to £1.00, followed by a Bet Value Per Line of 1 to 5. Bets are made across all paylines, making your Min Bet just £0.08 and your Max Bet £40.00. This is a great range of wagers and makes the game a good choice for all sorts of players - whether you like to keep things low or go large.
Hold the Reels
This excellent feature allows you to hold up to two symbols in place for the next spin every time. Holding symbols doesn't affect your wager, but it does affect your chances of winning - by maximising them!
Bonus Rock Game
You can collect Rock Bonus symbols as you spin, and once you've collected three then the second screen bonus game will commence. The bonus round is an ever-popular pick round. In the bonus round all reels are turned around and left blank. You will blindly choose three rocks and Dinomo baby will throw smaller rocks at them to reveal the symbols. Players win with matching symbols.
This is a cute Betsoft game, and the dinosaur and Stone Age theme will undoubtedly have wide appeal. The pick Bonus Round is a nice little feature, although it's the Hold The Reels option that's really at the heart of this slot and gives the players a little more control than in most games.
