Introduction
The Cave of Gold slot is a follow-up to Cave of Fortune from game designer BF Games. It is played on a similar 5x3 reel set which generates 30 fixed bet ways paying left to right.
There are three nitro symbols: a single, double and triple. When they appear anywhere on the reels they add to the nitro counter above the reel set. When three are collected the reel below will turn into a persistent wild and fill the reel for the next three games.
Each time a persistent wild appears the game counter will re-set to three, and all will remain for the next three games. When two, three or four reels have the persistent wild a x2, x3 or x4 multiplier will apply to wins. If the player fills all five reels with persistent wilds, they win a x200 payout and all wilds disappear.
The scatter symbol, a treasure chest, triggers free games. It appears on all the reels, and at least three are needed for free games. During free games the player may trigger the explode feature and add bomb wilds to the reels.
