- Wilds and expanding sticky wilds

The wild symbol is a cocktail glass. When it shows up, it expands to fill the whole reel it appears on, which can be reel two, three or four. When it appears, the wild symbol sticks and triggers a re-spin on the other reels. Another sticky wild can appear during a re-spin, up to a maximum of three, and this game mode only ends when no new expanding sticky wilds appear.

Note that re-spins triggered by expanding sticky wilds are played at the same bet as the spin that triggered the re-spin.

Overall review

Cosmo Mix by Spinmatic is simple and straightforward in a lot of ways. There are many other space themed slots out there, such as Starburst. What makes Cosmo Mix stand out is its both ways gameplay whereby its ten lines pay out whether the winning symbols are lined up from left to right or right to left. Of course, the odds take this into account, but the big benefit of both ways gameplay is that it is exciting until the last reel drops into place. When you play standard slot machines, you already know by the second reel whether you have won.

The limited bonus mode can be a little disappointing; however, as long as you know going in, this is not a major setback and the frequent wins you are likely to see will probably compensate. This is not a high-risk, high-reward game; in fact, it is quite the opposite.
