Overall Review

When a medium variance slot hits the market in 2021, we’re pretty excited. We like to see games that offer more frequent wins, even if their top prizes are smaller, to balance out all of the highly volatile games out there. So, Fire Joker Freeze pushes all the right buttons.

However, the two main bonus features that are supposed to drive the gameplay don’t actual come around all that often. The Re-Spin of Fire is pretty elusive but we were lucky enough to land the Re-Spin of Ice a few times during our playthrough.

The Wheel of Fire and Ice is also a nice bonus when you’re enough to land it. It’s not just a prize wheel but a multiplier wheel where your win from the base game is improved upon – so, that makes for a nice change.

Our other gripe is that the top prize is a little low for a medium variance slot. Play’n GO’s two latest medium volatility games both have significantly highly max wins – Thunder Screech (5000x) and Cat Wild in the Eclipse of the Sun God (5500x). So, it would have been nice to see a little more in terms of payouts.
