Theme, Graphics and Soundtrack

The lighting and shading used are very much in line with the techniques of a conventional graphic artist. The movement of the reels is unspectacular but there is a nice effect whereby the first 2 reels stop quickly and then there is a tension-building delay before the next 3 reels stop, 1 by 1.

The soundtrack is silent between spins and when it does kick in it consists of a fairly minimalist series of chords played on eastern instruments. The overall impression is quite but effective.

Lotus Kingdom Bonus Features

Wilds

If more than 1 wild lands in a winning line it multiplies the winnings on that line as follows: 3 wilds = 3x; 4 wilds = 5x. During free spins, when a wild symbol lands on reel 3 it will expand to fill the entire reel. Wilds count as any symbol except free spins and the bonus.

This is a nicely judged game with enough bonus features to keep players engaged. It’s a shame that the RTP is a little low, and its medium variance means when the wins do come they are not spectacular. Having said that, it is refreshingly ungimmicky and instead of attempting any kind of realism or hyper-reality it makes a virtue of stylisation.
