Lotus Love has an oriental love story theme evocative of a wedding, given the depiction of the beautiful layered white cake dressed in floral decorations. The imagery used is very pretty and includes many oriental-themed symbols, such as the lotus, dragons, and pergola roofs. A decent amount of animation brings a little interest to the backdrop, such as the breath from the dragon’s mouth.

The soundtrack is a typical oriental melody, with the lilting tune playing softly in the background so that it doesn’t distract from the gameplay in any way.

How to play Lotus Love

Feel the love in a few simple steps:

1. To see the paytable, press the circular pay button to the top left of the gameboard. To exit the paytable, press the 777 tassel to the top left.

There is a gamble feature available in the base game of Lotus Love. When a winning combination has been landed on a payline, players will be offered the gamble button. Pressing the gamble button takes players to the risk game, where there is a red envelope. To its left is a banknote and to its right is a cheque. Players must correctly guess which of the two is inside the red envelope to either double their win or lose it.

Overall Lotus Love review: our verdict

This is a good example of a Booming Games demo slots game. We found it to be a basic slot with simple rules, meaning it was possible to simply enjoy the gameplay rather than puzzle over a set of difficult to understand features. We liked the pretty graphics, as who doesn’t like a good love story? 

The inclusion of a gamble feature is a welcome addition; however, after many spins, it seemed very difficult to select the correct option and didn’t feel like a 50/50 gamble. Our other gripe was how long it took to trigger the free spins by landing three scatter symbols.
