Spring Invaders Bonus Features

Every slots game could do with a Wild symbol, and Spring Invaders needs one more than most. Luckily, help has been provided in the form of a hummingbird Wild, which acts as a symbol substitute to help create winning combinations. And hopefully it drives some of the pesky insects away in the process, too!

The ladybird is the game’s Mystery Symbol. It can randomly award multipliers when it lands in a winning combination, according to how many symbols you spin up. Three Mystery Ladybirds award arandom Multiplier worth from 1 to 50x your stake. Spin up four Mystery symbols and the Multiplier increases to 5 to 500x your stake.

There’s also a fun optional Gamble feature. Lots of players like the thrill of potentially doubling up on wins, although there’s an equal risk that you’ll guess wrong and lose the win completely. Overall Review

Spring Invaders is an unusual but highly entertaining addition to the Spinmatic online slots collection. It’s a fun theme that’s been perfectly executed, with some excellent winning potential when the Mystery Symbols start applying higher random multipliers. The Gamble feature is great fun, too, perfectly fitting in with the game’s theme.

It’s just a pity that there’s no Free Spins bonus round, but life is never perfect. That’s something this game is all too keen to point out, showing that even the most carefully put-together picnic can be ruined by an invasion of insects. Still, it’s great fun and well worth taking for a spin in demo mode to see whether you’d like to risk your own money on it.
