It’s all here, imaginatively presented with a doomy heavy metal guitar soundtrack. No complaints: it looks and sounds great.

How to Play Zombie Town

Before you start the game, take a moment to familiarise yourself with the game set-up, controls and functions with our simple guide:

1. Click the spin button to start playing the reels using the current total bet value or use the space bar. You cannot stop the reels mid-spin.
2. Adjust the bet level using the left and right arrows or enter settings to change credit cost, bet and lines as well as switching speed between normal, turbo and super turbo.
3. Click auto start to the left of the spin button to select a number of auto spins from 10 to infinity. 
4. Here you can set the auto spin feature to stop after any win, before the bonus game and after a win of 5x total bet and more. You may also set limits for total win per round as well as for balance increases and balance decreases. You can also adjust play speed.

Free Games

The wild can appear on the first reel. If the full wild lands on the first reel and 2 scatters land anywhere the player wins 12 free games. If any of the 4 top symbols appear during the free games they turn into sticky wilds and stay in place until the end of the free game. If at least one wild lands on each reel during the free games then 5 additional free games are triggered. The maximum multiplier is 20 and the maximum number of free spins is 17. Maximum free games win is 10,000x total bet. Wilds can substitute for the 7 lower symbols.

Risk Game

You can turn off this setting in the menu. If you choose to keep it operating then after each win you are offered the chance to gamble, choosing Risk to accept or Start to decline. The risk game is not active in turbo mode.

Card Double with the Dealer

This risk game will double or lose the winnings. The card chosen by the player must be higher than the dealer’s to win. If lower the player wins. If it is the same nothing changes and the risk game continues.

Red-or-Black Risk Game

If the player guesses the card colour correctly the win is double, if the player also guesses the suit, the win is quadrupled. There is a maximum of 5 rounds.

Jackpot Wheel of Fortune

Press the start button to spin the small wheel. If it lands on an arrow the big wheel starts to spin. If there is a jackpot section on the big wheel the player wins the cash jackpot - if not, the player wins jackpot points to increase the jackpot co-efficient for the next half hour of play.

The jackpot is formed by deducting 0.5% of each bet and increases the RTP by 0.5%.

Zombie Town Review: Our Verdict

While there is nothing ground-breaking in the mechanics of the game, it’s a great-looking slot and it does have some nice features, particularly the choices of gamble feature which are a bit more complex than most. However, that RTP is shockingly low, so be warned.
