How to Play Big Hitter

The unusual format and layout of Big Hitter make the game look quite complex at first glance, but it’s actually simplicity itself to play.

1. Decide on the amount of your wager using the arrow keys at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Your wager is applied to each of the three sets of reels, so it’s multiplied by 3x, as shown in the total bet window on the left.

2. All that remains is to press the Play button to the right of your screen. This will spin all three sets of reels simultaneously.

3. Coin symbols floating out from the screen indicate a winning payline. Keep a close watch on the blank window just to the right of the winning reel. A winning multiplier could spin up, increasing your win by 2x, 5x or even 10x.

4. You can choose to Collect your win or Gamble. To activate the Gamble feature, just hit the button as the light flashes between ‘Double’ and ‘Nothing’. You can gamble up to three times, increasing the value of the win by up to 8x.

Bet Sizes & Paytable Wins

Coin values range from just 0.05 to 10.00. But they’re applied to all three paylines, giving a total stake of between 0.15 and 30.00 per spin.

Prizes are awarded for landing three matching symbols along one or more of the three paylines. And Win Multipliers can also appear, increasing the win by 2x, 5x, or 10x, as follows:

Three cherries = 2x, 4x, 10x, 20x

Three lemons = 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x

Three oranges = 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x

Three grapes = 25x, 50x, 125x, 250x

Big Hitter Bonus Features

Big Hitter doesn’t have any Wilds, Scatters or Free Spins. But Win Multipliers can activate following any winning spin, increasing their value by 2x, 5x or even 10x.

The only other bonus feature in this game is the Gamble feature. Following any winning spin you can opt to Collect the win or Gamble it. Hit the Gamble button when the light is on Double to receive a Win Multiplier of 2x. But if the light falls on Nothing, you lose that win. You can gamble up to three times, with a top Multiplier worth 8x.

Overall Review

Despite that lack of Wilds, Scatters and Free Spins, Big Hitter still manages to pack quite a punch. The Win Multipliers can generate some big cash prizes, and the optional Gamble feature can really boost the payouts if you’re feeling up for the risk.

But the low RTP ratio is this game’s stumbling block for us. It represents quite a high level of risk, so if you’re thinking of playing this game with real cash, be sure to do your homework first. Take time for at least 100 spins in demo mode, so you know what to expect in an online casino.
