Look and feel

Being set under the sea, it's probably no surprise that the game is, well, blue. The fun bubbles lend some atmosphere, though, and the game logo, which sits in its customary place over the reels, seems to glow ethereally.

The symbols, which appear on light blue game reels, are designed with great attention to detail and are pleasingly well animated when they feature in winning combos. Also included are some nicely on-theme sound effects.

Playing the game

There are five fixed paylines in Blue Dolphin, meaning that you can't change their locations. You can, though, adjust your best anywhere from ten coins up to one thousand coins - that's 10c through to $10 per bet. After each and every win, you'll also hear a mechanical ticking sound to let you know that you can use the gamble option, which allows you to gamble on the colour of a flipped playing card.

There is also an autoplay option available and although it only has start and stop and is in no way configurable, many players will still appreciate its inclusion in the game.
