Introduction

The objective of the game is to travel up the rows of the game pyramid until you reach the top. Theme & Graphics

Boxes has a very simple layout. The rows are arranged in a pyramid, going from more rows at the bottom to fewer at the top. The game’s lowest level has 4 rows with 14 boxes all together, and the most complex one has 8 rows with 44 boxes in total.

When you open the game up, it will ask you to select your own game layout, choosing the number of rows you’d like in your pyramid (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) and the level of difficulty you’d like to play with. Choosing a higher level of difficulty means that each row will contain more bombs but the potential winnings are greater. As an example, on the easy level, with the standard 8 rows, there will be 4 bombs on the first row. These decrease slightly as your progress up the pyramid, with 3 bombs on the second row, 2 on the next three rows, and 1 bomb on the top 3 rows, giving you a 50:50 chance of clicking the right box if you make it to the final row.

The game has a good, clear layout, although the background is quite dark. Bomb symbols have a red coloured background and diamonds have a green background so it’s very easy to follow.
