The graphics of County Seat

Beyond the reels, you'll see a complex of traditional buildings and temples. Within them, the symbols include three male and two female characters. Their roles are unclear, but one is almost certainly the criminal boss, while a lady in a green dress is holding a gun.

Mahjong tiles make up the rest of the symbols, but the tiles are displayed on bags that have been placed on the head of a figure. The graphics are of a high quality, with sharp, clean, detailed imagery. The scatter symbol has two guns crossing, while the wild symbol is a little dragon ornament. In the free spins feature, the background changes as the view rises to the roofs of the building and the hue changes from red to blue. At all times, a fat duck sits to the left of the reels.

The sounds of County Seat

In the base game, sound effects play as the reels move, with a short burst of melody played with every win. In the free spins game, however, a traditional Chinese folk soundtrack starts up.

How to Win at County Seat

Like most slots, players win by landing three or more scatter symbols on one reel. More than one line can win in a single spin, and the prizes are added together for a total win. Landing five winning symbols along one line will have the max win. Consult the paytable for the win multiplier for each symbol.

Gameplay and slot format

The format of this game is straightforward enough. There are five reels and 50 lines. Players make a total bet and simply wait to land three or more winning symbols on a payline to gain the win multiplier for that set of symbols. It moves nicely from the base game to the free spins feature.

The game's looks and sounds

The imagery, theme and sounds of this game are a particular highlight. While the theme is not too obvious, it subtly hints at a dark but glamorous underbelly and combines the world of mahjong playing with assassins and crime lords. The graphics are clean and clear, and the colour theme is dark and moody with pops of colour.

County Seat bonus features

The game’s bonus features are acceptable. The free spins feature has extra bonuses, such as a flame reel and respins. Base game bonuses are lacking, however.
