How to play Fish & Hooks

1. Set your desired bet using the plus and minus buttons either side of the bet indicator. If you want to play at the highest level just click Max.
2. To activate autoplay click the small play button with the two eels on it. Pick the number of auto spins you wish to play.
3. Click the play button with the two fish to start the reels using your total selected bet. Click again twice to stop the reels.
4. Click Bonus to buy access to the free spins game.
5. If one line has more than one win, the highest value combination takes priority. Simultaneous and overlapping wins are added on different lines.
6. Bonus symbols appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4. Bonus symbols appear only in the base game.
7. The wild substitutes for all symbols except the bonus.

Fish & Hooks bonus features

The Golden Hook

During the base game the Golden Hook symbol will collect a coin from the seabed and this will be placed in the first empty space above the reels. Fill all the spaces and win the combination of the coins. Your win will increase if you have at least 3 of a kind. The wild forms part of the coin combination offering the highest value. Only one golden hook appears per reel.

Free Spins

If you land 3 bonus symbols you gain access to the free spins feature. At the start you will be granted 6 free spins. The free spins phase is played with special reels. This feature begins by blocking reel 5 with a sticky wild symbol. During this feature, the Golden Captain symbol adds one unit to the progress bar. Once you have added 3 units to the progress bar on the left you will win 3 extra free spins and reel 4 will be blocked with a sticky wild symbol.

Once you have filled the left-hand progress bar, the Golden Captain symbol will add units to the right-hand progress bar. When you have added 3 units to the progress bar on the right you get 2 extra free spins and column 3 will be blocked with a sticky wild symbol.

This is a charming and unpretentious game with some nice extras. The RTP is a little low, but the main reason to play is that it make a refreshing change from pyramids and Chinese lanterns. Good, simple fun.
